Why We Started Get Equity Back

We saw that gap, and it bothered us. Local government offices hold these funds, but they have no obligation — and often no resources — to track down the people who are owed this money. Former homeowners move, change phone numbers, and life moves on. But the money doesn't go anywhere. It just sits there.
So we built Get Equity Back to bridge that gap. We do the research, the paperwork, and the legal coordination so that families can get back what rightfully belongs to them — without spending a dime out of pocket.
